The types of problems that bring people to rehabilitation centers are sometimes tragic and life changing. Even the less complex rehabilitation issues create significant challenges and inconveniences. Friends and loved ones may also be dramatically affected.
At BAPTIST HEALTH Rehabilitation Institute (BHRI), we are very sensitive to the fears and uncertainties experienced by our patients and their families. We unite as a team, a team which includes the patient and their family, with the goal of restoring the highest level of function, self-reliance, self-esteem and quality of life.
Patients may be referred to BHRI by a physician, family member, friend or self-referral. Once a referral is made, a BHRI Clinical Liaison may visit the patient and family to discuss rehabilitation options and to perform a clinical evaluation. The cost of treatment is covered as any hospitalization by Medicare, Medicaid, Workers' Compensation and private insurance carriers.
