BAPTIST HEALTH Rehabilitation Institute is Arkansas' most experienced rehabilitation facility. Open since 1974, it is the largest and most comprehensive facility in the state. BHRI, with a capacity for over 100 inpatients, is located on the BAPTIST HEALTH Medical Center-Little Rock campus in west Little Rock. BHRI is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, and Outpatient Rehabilitation. BHRI is also accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO) and is approved by the Arkansas State Department of Health as a comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital.

BHRI's interdisciplinary approach to rehabilitation combines a team of highly qualified Physiatrists (physicians who specialize in rehabilitation medicine), Consulting Physicians, Rehabilitation Nurses, Care Coordinators/Social Workers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Respiratory Therapists, Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, Registered Dieticians, Driver Rehabilitation Instructors and Neuropsychologists working together with the patient and their family. Each staff member is dedicated to providing individualized treatment for the special needs of our patients and their families.
